In the book _Letters of E.B. White_, White mentions a Frank E. Morse as head of "Morse Chain works" and credits him with the design of the Gray Arithmometer.

The first TASCO advertisement in the magazine Popular Mechanics for the Arithmometer seems to be in the Sept. 1944 issue. (JD Huey, 11.Oct 2009)
