Diskussion:Peters - Morse Material

Article in Cornell Alumni News gives interesting data about funders and poses some open questions:

• Frank L. Morse. By sure he was involved in production of Gray adder, through Morse Chain Co. Is it related with The Morse & Walsh Co. and Calculimeter?
• Heber C. Peters (born in 1892?) was formerly a designer with the Burroughs Company, as stated by Martin 1925, pag. 326
• John H, Barr (born in 1889?), could by a typo for John M, Barr, the designer/maker of Barr Integraph ???

I found  this page about Barr Typewriter says

5. Barr

First year of production: 1926

First produced by: Barr-Morse Corporation, Ithaca, New York

Inventor: John Henry Barr

Note: Technically one of the more advanced portables ever made, from a small, independent company

Then Peters-Morse's Director was actually John H, Barr
By the other hand the 1927 ad says that Barr-Morse Co, was producing computing machines, don't (only) typewritewrs.
