A money-reckoner consists of a frame a having parallel wires, one for each denomination, and each having on it as many sliding beads c as there are units in its denomination. These beads may be made to represent coins, and the frame may either be made wider at the " shillings" wire d or have only ten beads on this wire and another wire for half-sovereigns.
