This invention relates to tabulators and In particular to improvements In the totalizers and printing mechanism, of tabulators, of the well- known Powers type. One of the principal objects of the invention is to provide a tabulator of the general Powers type with novel algebraic totalizers, and -with means for determining automatically whether items on the control cards are to be entered positively or negatively. Another object is to produce such a device for obtaining direct subtraction simply and efficiently.
